Soha Ali Khan is a Bollywood actress best known for her role of Sonia in Rang De Basanti for which she won IIFA Awards for Best Supporting Actress and GIFA Awards for Best Supporting Actress.
Her mother Sharmila Tagore was one of the first rule breakers of the film industry who dared to wear a bikini in her film, An Evening In Paris at a time when the concept of swimsuits was a taboo. So it comes as a surprise that daughter Soha Ali Khan did not attempt to wear a bikini in her nine-year old film career. In her defense, Soha says, "I never got a role that required me to wear one. However, now in Joe B Carvalo, you will see me in a two-piece bikini. I have already shot for the scene." Explaining the scene, she says, "While I cannot tell you what the scene exactly is, it has Arshad Warsi in it and has been shot in a swimming pool and is hilarious. You have to watch it to enjoy it. Initially, I was very apprehensive about wearing a bikini, but since I am young and fit, I thought I might as well do it now."
